The nurse came in and checked to see how I was doing, I was already beyond exhausted at this point and I knew if I was this tired already I am in for a long run... she told me she could give me some medication to help me get some sleep... I really didn't want to get medication 2 hours in, I knew i could handle it but I was just so over tired i needed too. Im finally here to share my labour story, for all of you who have asked.. HERE IT IS! :) Thursday morning finally approached Josh and I were very nervous... well I was more nervous then him.. my body was about to be ripped a part.. I was expecting a call from the hospital around 830 for them to tell me what time they want me to come in.. nothing was heard by 830 so I called them, they told me to come for 11. We all know it can happen, but you never really think it will happen to you.. Well, let me tell you thats exactly what happened to me. I thought my pregnancy was going well, I was healthy, babe was healthy everything was going good! We were into our third trimester and around 31 weeks pregnant things took a change. Well, spring is finally making its grand arrival, we all start to get into that good warm weather feeling. Although spring is around the corner our every day lives still continue with our stressful jobs. Which means we still have to continue to adult every day... Which is not the easiest. But it doesn't always have to be. There is always a much needed relaxation and time to unwind. Well, my time is coming to end of this lovely journey I have encountered. But now it is my turn to full point all my interest into preparation for labour, as its just around the corner. They say pregnancy normally goes so slow, because you are just waiting for the days to go by... but let me tell you its gone SOO fast. Little too fast. Pregnant? Trying ? Just found out? We'll we've all been there and we have all googled '' IM PREGNANT IS THIS NORMAL?'' Or at least I have.. Many times, probably at least 5 times a week. So many changes that happen to the body while pregnant, and we only know the very minimal until it actually happens. We all suspect, bigger boobs, gaining weight, stretch marks, big bump etc, ok... but what about the not so fun ones behind it all? So let me share the not so fun things. 1. Coffee? Big no no.. Wrong! I am in my early 20's, so I am considered an '' Adult'' but let me tell you I am still far away from being an adult. I still have so much to learn. Now In just over 2 months I will have this tiny little human to care for. Scary? Extremely. But let me tell you that being younger doesn't make me incapable of being a great mom. There are women out there who became a wonderful parent at earlier ages than me! Having a baby young doesn't put your life on hold while others are travelling the world. Woo!! You have officially made it to trimester 2! Congrats! Now is the time your body will feel almost like its normal self! Congrats lady! You have officially discovered you're growing a little bean! Now you may already be feeling tired, sick to your stomach and that it will never end. Let me tell you it does get better!
