Toy Machine surprised Georgia Martin last night—one day before their big Real Life Sucks premiere—by welcoming her into the pro ranks with her friends, family and teammates in attendance.  Georgia has been on a tear the last few years and her progression (and skating, just in general) really speaks for itself. Plus... getting the nod from Mr. Ed Templeton is nothing to take lightly. It's a big deal having your name on a Toy Machine board! Congrats, Georgia! Robert Neal, Ish Cepeda and Alex Midler Hit the Streets of Hong Kong in Davonte Jolly's New Video

Hong Kong clearly has spots for days and Robert Neal, Ish Cepeda and Alex Midler recently got a taste of the terrain themselves in Davonte Jolly's video, 'From Hong Kong With Love'. Looks like these dudes had a good time (on and off their boards). Peep the clip below! The flatbar spot that Midler skates is an absolute bucket list spot. Anytime I see footage there I'm instantly jealous. I mean, I wouldn't be able to skate it the same way, but even just seeing it in real life would be unreal.  That's one of those spots that makes you scratch your head and wonder, "Why was this built... if ..read more

Nestor Judkins and Tony Latham Shine in Jacuzzi Unlimited's New Video 'Long Distance Relationship'
Skateboarding Magazine

Jacuzzi recently hit us with their latest video, 'Long Distance Relationship' and the entire clip is a thing of beauty. With Nestor Judkins kicking things off with his classic style and some serious spot-envy, and Tony Latham coming out swinging with some heavy, heavy clips, get ready to pause and rewind a few times, because these dudes really nailed it. Take a look: I've always been a huge fan of Nestor's and Tony is one of those skaters who can truly get rad on literally every type of terrain. But I think seeing that one little Louie Barletta clip in the mix is what got me extra excited. We ..read more

'Maka Lassi Bridge Life' Video Tells the Story of Atlanta's Admirable DIY
Skateboarding Magazine

'Maka Lassi Bridge Life' tells the story of one Atlanta DIY that was sadly destroyed by the city without any notice. This spot was a place to call their own—away from the crowded local skateparks—and and seeing it turn from a concept to a reality is super rad and pretty inspiring all the same.  The video is bound to fuel your DIY spirit one way or another, and although it's absolutely devastating that the city came in and destroyed this amazing spot—and all the hard work this crew put in over the years—they'll at least always have these memories (and clips) forever. Check it out: The Atl ..read more

Where Has Taylor Smith Been? New Clips Surface Along With Commentary From T-Spliff
Skateboarding Magazine

At one time, Taylor Smith (aka T-Spliff) was a household name just like Riley Hawk and Rowan Zorilla—two of the many respected pros he grew up skating with—but at one point, he sort of disappeared for a while.  With that much natural talent, I've always assumed that Taylor could leave his board in the closet for years and still pick up right where he left off. And although that's not technically the case, he did unfortunately lose his sponsors a few years back, forcing him to revaluate his next move. The good news is—he's back! Check the video below and hear the story from the man himself ..read more

Daniel Wheatley Teases New Video 'Blanket' With a Cast of Heavy Hitters
Skateboarding Magazine

Daniel Wheatley recently shared a teaser for his upcoming video, Blanket and it looks to me like it has an absolutely stacked lineup, to say the least. It was actually pretty funny (and clever) that he hit us with all those names at the beginning of the clip... only to say, "...all have been really busy!"  Nick Michel, Reynolds, Jerry Hsu, Manchild... geez! But in fairness, he follows it up with, "But, we definitely got..." and that list is still just as impressive in its own right. If you're wondering, "Uh... what?" just watch the trailer!  Regardless, I think there's going to be a ..read more
