The Endocrine Society has appointed Zane B. The EPA Takes Steps to Reduce PFAS Exposures in Drinking Water

On April 10, the Biden-Harris Administration issued the first-ever national, legally enforceable drinking water standard to protect communities from exposure to harmful per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as ‘forever chemicals.’  As part of the administration’s commitment to combatting PFAS, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a $1 billion investment as part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda to address PFAS in drinking water. People with Hypothyroidism and Type D Personality May be More Likely to Experience Poor Treatment Outcomes

New research published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism finds a high prevalence of type D personalities among people with hypothyroidism.  Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormones.
