Bombas Sock Review

This post was written in partnership with Bombas. All views and opinions are my own. Photos by Rachel Bires I am a recent Bombas sock converter thanks to fellow Indigoers. I asked you all what your favorite socks are, and you all came back with pretty much one recommendation, Bombas. I bought several styles to try and have been a fan ever since. My first pair were the Original Half Calf socks to wear with boots and sneakers. I love that they stay up and don’t budge. Plus, the seamless toe is game changer. That is something I ALWAYS struggle with when it comes to socks. But two other things I ..read more

How To Style A Baseball Hat
My Style Vita

I think you’re either a hat person, or you’re not. But there are also so many types of hats, that you may wear some and not others. Or wear them all, or none at all. Living in NYC has definitely altered my style chemistry quite a bit already. This city requires you to have all the things. You need everything for every season. And one item that I am surprised I have felt a strong need for, is a hat. Photos by Ally SerackiAre You A Baseball Hat Person? I think I’ve always envied people who look cute in a hat. Especially a baseball hat. I never even THOUGHT to attempt it because I just felt reall ..read more

When the weather starts to feel a bit less wintery, and a bit more springy, I’m eager to jump all in. But wearing all your new spring things at once can feel a little off. Transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring can be a bit of a challenge. But this is one outfit combination I like to rely on. And it’s the easiest way to slowly peel off the layers, and add in a spring item or two. The Lazy Person’s Guide To A More Productive Life
My Style Vita

I kind of pride myself on somehow being kinda lazy, but still having most of my shit together. And I think it’s just the ability to be productive and organized, and prioritizing self care. But, yes, also being a childless Millennial helps. But even if you do have kids, or not, or whatever, I think there are times you can make your life feel a bit more productive even if you only have a short window to do so. You may feel like you’re working all the time but still not getting anything done. And honestly, it doesn’t have to be that way. A few simple changes can help you achieve more in less time ..read more

How To Transition Your Wardrobe From Winter To Spring
My Style Vita
by Jessica

I can not wait for spring days to arrive already. This winter has just been dreary and wet, non-stop. To say I’m excited about a little sunshine and warmer weather would be an understatement. Come spring, comes a change of wardrobe too. Which is probably my favorite transition! I think I like it more than summer to fall because you don’t run the risk of running too hot in a sweater with summer temps. Instead, you run the risk of being cold (which I’d much rather be than sweating in a sweater!). To go from a winter to spring wardrobe, you don’t have to totally revamp your closet. Sure it’s nice ..read more

Italian Sausage and Asparagus Risotto

I did something this weekend that I wasn’t prepared to do… I officially turned the heat on in my house. The temperatures dropped to the high 30s. It’s fall, it’s cold, and I’m ready to cozy up on the couch with comforting food. The first thing that comes to mind to me for comfort food is always anything Italian. Growing up Italian and Jewish meant chicken soup for when you’re sick and pasta for when you’re sad. There’s just really nothing that warms up the house like the smell of homemade marinara or meat sauce cooking on the stove. Since I’m too lazy to make a big pot of sauce (I also have th ..read more
