Snow cover has been been recorded at Star Valley Ranch since last November 3rd 2022(140 days ago). After the 9 inches measured yesterday the total for the winter thus far is 237 inches. An intense snow squall crossed Star Valley Monday afternoon.  White out conditions accompanied the snow squall resulting in several accidents along Hiway 89 from Alpine to Thayne.  A multiple vehicle accident occurred over the Snake River bridge in Alpine blocking traffic for over an hour.
