LAUREN + ADAM. LAUREN + ADAM. LAUREN + ADAM. Lauren and Adam had initially planned a bigger wedding, but decided to have an intimate dinner instead with their dearest at Post at COMO The Treasury. Their afternoon was divine. A small church ceremony followed by meandering around State Buildings in Perth’s CBD in their loved-up, post-wedded bliss, drinks with their family and friends at Wine Merchant (if you haven’t yet, you must try their Wagyu burger, best little cheeseburger in town in my humble opinion), and then their gorgeous dinner set up by floral legends A Little Bohemia. Just wonderful ..read more

TAZMAH + BRETT. TAZMAH + BRETT. TAZMAH + BRETT. Ahh Tazmah and Brett. Wonderful things come to mind when I think about them. Their wedding day was pure magic. It started off with getting-ready shenanigans at the gorgeous Melbourne Hotel in Perth’s CBD, followed by them saying ‘I do’ on the rooftop at Aurora Bar. We spent some time meandering around the city, for photos and laughs, mostly laughs (with photos thrown in). And then they kicked off their reception at sunset, again on the rooftop, amid beaming faces and joyous tears with their closest. I bloody love these two! Just all-round good pe ..read more

HANNAH + JONATHAN. HANNAH + JONATHAN. HANNAH + JONATHAN. Hannathan. THE MOST laidbank and cruisiest people you will ever meet. We hadn’t even met Hannah and Jonathan before their wedding day, everything was arranged through their super-legend stylist to the stars Kira of Hitch’d Weddings, and so we were just told be here at this time and we were. Hannathan were incredibly fun to be around. Their light-hearted ceremony was at Assembly Yard, we meandered around Fremantle for some photos with their also super cruisy crew, then back to Assembly Yard for their reception. Their dance floor was kill ..read more

CARRIE + SCOTT. CARRIE + SCOTT. CARRIE + SCOTT. You know what I love? People who just wanna have a good time, and those who trust me. Carrie and Scott epitomise all that. There was not a single (visible) bit of stress on their wedding day, and they were so go-with-the-flow that it made me love them even more. Carrie and Scott got hitched at my all-time fave Guildhall in North Fremantle. I know Guildhall shows up a bit on my blog and I am not even sorry. I would love to photograph all their weddings please and thank you. It’s just such a gorgeous space, but what makes it stand out too is the pe ..read more

DELL + DANIEL. DELL + DANIEL. DELL + DANIEL. Oh my gosh, there is so much to be said about Dell and Daniel. But where to start. Elena and I met with Dell and Daniel for drinks at our local. They honestly had us in love with them from there. Suuuuuper laidback, funny, just all round fun human beings. They also openly adore their cat Bruno so that gets extra marks from me. They got hitched at my favourite wedding venue Guildhall in North Fremantle. Why do I love this space? For so many reasons but when I walk through the door I feel welcome. So simple. The aesthetic is one thing; the space is pu ..read more

TAYLAH + PAUL. TAYLAH + PAUL. TAYLAH + PAUL. Taylah and Paul had the most colourful wedding day I’ve photographed yet. What started as an Insta explore pages crush wound up as a colour explosion with finely selected details I can only explain as deliciously cool, finishing off the evening with a choreographed dance to Land of 1000 Dances by Taylah and Paul to kick off the d-floor. Such an incredible day with two of the coolest people we know. Portraits were taken at COMO The Treasury Perth, reception held at Storehouse Subiaco. KATE + ANDREW. KATE + ANDREW. KATE + ANDREW. Kate and Andrew’s wedding day was a very laidback affair at Assembly Yard in Fremantle. In their initial enquiry, Kate noted that they love food and drink (tick) and a good time (also tick) and were wanting a very relaxed wedding (sign me up). Needless to say their day was super chill with an abundance of good food, good drinks and good times. SOFIA + TROY. SOFIA + TROY. SOFIA + TROY. Sofia and Troy had a lush winter ceremony in the art room at Perth City Farm. Deliciously styled by the wonders who are Confetti & Co, with next-level florals by one of my faves, Signature Floral Design. Their reception was in the main warehouse which was transformed into a magical, sophisticated winter wonderland. I hadn’t met Sofia and Troy before their wedding day as they reside in San Francisco. On the day I was genuinely in awe of how effortlessly cool they are. It was no surprise that their wedding day was also v chill. Very stylish, and very ..read more

A RETROSPECT. A RETROSPECT. A RETROSPECT. On the back of what was an absolute sh*tshow (2020), 2021 damn well delivered. From intimate gatherings to huge celebrations, weddings upped the ante and got more meaningful as I think people started to realise what was most important after being separated from loved ones. 2021 was a good one ..read more

2020: A Retrospect

2020 was all sorts of rubbish. But then amongst it all were the good days. I am a glass-is-hall-full kinda gal and naturally gravitate toward looking at the bright side, so amid all the uncertainty and unknown and uncontrollable, I managed to somehow make 2020 kinda alright. Admittedly, there were moments just as the sh*t hit the fan where I had mild internal panics. I think we all did. But eventually I just took a deep breath and decided there was not much I could do to control the global, or my direct, situation. So I sat back and trusted the universe and surprisingly felt the fear sl ..read more
