The Brockville Country Club (BCC) has put the registration process in play for the BCC Golf Marathon ’24 Crush Cancer fundraiser on June 28-29. BCC has scheduled the event to support efforts in defeating breast cancer and prostate cancer. The goal is to raise $50,000. Play gets under way at 7:30 a.m. in a four person scramble format. The Ottawa Valley Golf Association (OVGA) reports that the organization will be running the OVGA Introduction Tour again this year.   The OVGA’s goal is to introduce new junior players ages 6 to 12 to organized tournament golf in a player-friendly environment.  The OVGA Introduction Tour includes four 9-hole tournaments.   Parents are encouraged to caddy for their juniors, and help them with the Rules of Golf.  If necessary, we can help to procure golf equipment for new players.
