We have recently moved to Oxford because of my kids schooling. Done house viewing Around Abingdon / Headington and North Oxford. I am finding Abingdon better value for money vs Headington, Oxford north is different especially Oxford North Canalside Development by Hills group. I like Canalside development north of Oxford but not sure the price justifying the new builds especially they are all town houses and very expensive. Recently went for a viewing for a house on Osney Island. It was an amazing 2 bedroom but not sure if I should make an offer because I've heard mixed things about flooding. Can anyone tell me anything about the area - whether you would buy here - whether you would rent here - etc... Anything would be appreciated.
