Martin Scorsese wants to make a Frank Sinatra biopic starring Leonardo DiCaprio as the famous crooner. According to Variety, Scorsese has already cast DiCaprio as Sinatara and Jennifer Lawrence as his second wife actor Ava Gardner. Zack Snyder says Tom Cruise wanted to play a pretty surprising character in his 2009 comic book movie Watchmen. "I wanted Tom Cruise for Ozymandias. Tom wanted to play Rorschach," Snyder told the Happy Sad and Confused podcast. "Which he obviously could have done, but we already had [Jackie Earle Haley] and Jackie is unbelievable. But I certainly would have considered Tom in retrospect if I hadn't had Jackie." Watchmen, based on the DC Comics limited series of the same name, hit theaters in 2009. Snyder directed the dark and dystopian superhero pic from a screenplay by David Hayer (Warrior Nun ..read more

Autobots, roll out. The first trailer for animated origin story Transformers One is now here. Starring Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax (who would later come to be known as Optimus Prime) and Brian Tyree Henry as D-16/Megatron, the new Transformers movie promises to chart the events that lead to the pair becoming lifelong enemies across time and space. Taking on more of a goofy, light tone than the live-action series, the Transformers One trailer (which launched in space, of all places) takes us through Orion and D-16's early days exchanging banter, before they get the power to transform and head ..read more

The first full trailer for the Netflix action comedy Hit Man is here, and it’s hilarious. The new movie from School of Rock director Richard Linklater stars Top Gun: Maverick’s Glen Powell as an undercover agent posing as a hitman. We see "fake hitman" Gary Johnson playing several versions of a stereotypical gun for hire in the new look. As he explains in a voiceover: "I realized not everyone fantasized about the same hitman, every sting operation was a performance." However, it seems he gets more than he bargained for when he’s hired by Adria Arjona’s Maddy Masters to kill her husband, and so ..read more

Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire ended with a major tease of a looming battle – and its sequel, titled The Scargiver, more than delivers on that promise.  After Ed Skrein's fearsome Admiral Noble was resurrected at the end of Part One, he was set on a collision course with Sofia Boutella's Kora – AKA the Scargiver herself. Part Two sees them go head to head in a dramatic duel on a crashing spaceship, which Skrein, who played the villain Ajax in Deadpool, says was similar in scale to the Marvel movie.  "I've done a lot of stunt work periodically over the years, and ..read more
