Hoping to find the proper name of this "2-player solitare" game and hopefully a place to play it online.

The game uses a standard 52 card deck. 4 cards are dealt face up. If the players are in the North and South positions these cards would be played to the West facing East. The remaing cards are dealt evenly to each player and kept face down in their personal deck. The stacks may be built on up or down in alternating colors. (Red jack can have a black Queen or black ten played on it.) Aces are played to the East side of the table and build up in suit order. At the start of your turn, 1) If possible, move the top card of any face up pile to any other face up pile. You may play cards from your di ..read more

Help with 13 variation

All I know is they call it mafia, but its not what Google says mafia is. Best played with 4 people, 2 teams of 2. Each player gets 13 cards, and whoever gets the queen of spades has the "mafia". This game will use two decks with 4 plays, 1 with 2. This single card is worth 100 points alone. Cards can only be played if you have 3 of a kind (ie 3 3's), but if you have a wildcard, you can play 2 and use the 2 as the 3rd card. Ace=20 2=wildcard or 5 3-9= 5 10-K= 10 QofS= 100 Must have atleast a pair to pick up card/pile from discard pile. Can play single cards if you or partner already has a pile ..read more

Anyone heard of this card game? A friend introduced me to a card game their family referred to as "90". It is played by 4 players with two decks and no jokers. Each player starts with 11 cards. The game is played over several rounds with the goal of each round to obtain a different combination of sets (three of the same card) and runs (four suited cards in sequence). First round is two sets, second round is one set and one run, third round is two runs, fourth round is three sets, fifth round is two sets and one run, sixth round is one set and two runs, and seventh round is 3 runs. Players are ..read more

Disputed card game rules

Have a favorite card game you love to play but find that your opponents dispute the rules you’ve been playing by your whole life? We’ve been playing Rummy and my husband keeps wanting to go rogue and it turns it into an entirely different game. Not that that’s terrible, but sometimes I just want to play the way I always have. submitted by /u/SunflowerSamez [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I used to play this game as a kid and i loveddddd it but now i don’t remember some details & everytime i try to look it up, different games pop up. From what i remember, it’s a 2 person game. each person gets either 4 or 5 stacks of 4 cards. There’s also 4 cards in the middle. The objective is to have each of your stacks match before the other person. This can be matching numbers or matching suits. Ex- one of your stacks is all 4 queens, the other is all 4 4s, the other is all 4 kings, the last is all 4 jacks. The catch is you can only trade your cards between the 4 cards in the middle, a ..read more

We created our own little version of Phase10 taking it to 20 phases, and rearranged some of the original phases. If you have some time to kill and want to help us fine tune our game a little. We found this line up played fairly well. 2 sets of 3 1 set of 3, 1 run of 4 Run of 7 1 set of 4, 1 run of 4 Run of 8 3 sets of 3 7 cards 1 color Run of 9 1 set of 5, 1 set of 3 5 cards 1 color, 1 set of 3 2 sets of 4 Set of 5, set of 3 8 cards, 1 color Run of 6, 1 color Run of 5, 4 cards 1 color Run of 4, 2 sets of 3 Run of 7, 1 color Run of 10 2 sets of 5 Run of 10, alternating colors Happy playing ..read more
