I lost a family member yesterday on top of what happened, so I was already feeling off. She had an attitude right from the jump, when I just asked her if she had an account so she can get the bogo discount. She was basically complaining about how I was doing my job, and had the audacity to call me rude. I hope they feel so great from how they treated me :)

There is no way there is intelligent life up that corporate ladder. Prices are being increased every single seasons and they clearly noticed that there is a lot less customers coming in. They dropped promos that would slash prices by half and that apparently was still profitable and brought more people in. How smooth brain do you have to be to completely miss the correlation?

I worked for susbucks for seven years, it was always the same thing. Now I’m pissed off on the customer side. They /knew/ the new refreshers with the bubble thingswould be insanely popular yet all FIVE stores in my area are already completely sold out and the new pastries as well. It seems like they give each store like 1 days worth of supplies. Why? They have to be losing money this way.

I've had numerous DMs over my years at the Bux. All licensed stores though, none company operated.
If you have a good idea that you think could benefit the store, or increase sales, or whatever other ideas you might come up with to improve the brand or operations or efficiency or whatever.
If they don't like the ideas, they never get shared upwards. I hear that Laxman has visited every store at ASU and worked a 2 hour shift alongside baristas, wearing the green apron. I wonder if any barista conversation or feedback has already effected or altered Sbux in some way?
I have all sorts of ideas a ..read more

I didn't get to take a picture of the sticker, so if you don't believe me I totally understand! But we were neck deep in that 50% off today and I could barely breathe let alone take a picture. ??
Trenta summer skies drink, sub vanilla sweet cream, six scoops of pearls, eight pumps of cinnamon caramel, no ice, and extra white chocolate macadamia cold foam. ?

Had a woman all but yell at me today because the price of cake pops went up to $3.25, I tried explaining that the prices go up each launch and that we have no control over it. She then got mad that we hadn’t changed the signage in our display case and said we were “deceiving people” give me a fuckin break.

Like, if we were getting bonuses or paid more to work these shifts it would be so much more worth it and would be more managable because we would likely have better staffing situations with better pay! I just completely gave up on drive times today because it was so busy and we didn’t have the staff to get by and the staff that we did have, baristas and managers alike, were absolutely miserable.
Also don’t know if anyone else’s store had this problem, but so many baristas at my store changed their availabilities to not be scheduled on Thursdays because of how bad it gets… So of course they sw ..read more

I really don’t know why but every time I get a trenta no ice no inclusions ticket I think about hanging up the apron. I get it’s petty of me but if you seriously need to save the money just drink kool aid at home instead of paying ~ 7$ for some sugar water.
