Hero Arts Merry Christmas Cover Plate Die
a2z Scrapbooking

Howdy! Today I have some sparkly and shiny fun for Christmas. I created two cards with the Hero Arts Merry Christmas Cover Plate Die. The first one here is all glittery. Glitter cards are hard to photograph and the light was kind of diminishing on me so the photo isn’t the best. Anyway… The first thing I did was stick a double sided adhesive sheet to a piece of Neenah paper. I placed my die on the paper so that the adhesive would end up on the top of the design. That way I could get that glitter to stick to it. I used microfine glitter and dumped that all over the design over a coffee filter ..read more

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a throwback for Hero Arts and some products from the past. Ths card was so fun, and since Central Florida doesn’t get much winter, I figure I would confront the hot days we have been having with this nice winter scene card. First I printed the now retired digital images and cut them with my Scan N Cut. The background snow drifts are from Lawn Fawn dies. The sentiment is from a 2012 Hero Arts and Studio Calico stamp set. which I used Hero Arts Intense Black ink to stamp. For the background I used a stencil and BoBunny Silver Glitter Paste ..read more

Hero Arts Happy Holidays Christmas Mice

I’d say these Christmas Mice were saying Happy Holidays to you.  I grabbed a piece of 6″ X 6″ paper and cut it down to fit on the A2 size card for a different look to a holiday card.  I had a “Happy Holidays” panel cut a bit short in my stash that I wanted to use, so this is how I arrived at the design.  Add two mice and a couple dots of Nuvo and we’re done.  This looks great in real life. Be sure to join in the challenge and visit the store for some outrageous sales at A2Z Scrapbooking. Remember to enter the challenge and visit the store. Please join us in this month’s “holidays”, any holi ..read more

Hero Arts Haunted Digital Kit With Oxide Ink Blending
a2z Scrapbooking

In keeping with our challenge theme I created a holiday card. Halloween is a fun holiday for me. I like decorating around the house and the front yard. My card is a combination of using digital images, ink blending and stamping. The first thing I did when creating my card was take the haunted house from the Hero Arts Haunted Digital kit and had my Cameo cut it out. I had to change the png image by using trace and then I resized it. It did take a while to cut because it has all this tiny holes in the house for a distressed look. Then I did some ink blending with 1 Hero Arts Reactive Ink and 3 ..read more

We must thank Kristina for the wonderful farewell graphic for our last challenge.  Be sure to visit the shop for big discounts. Again, I’m using non-traditional colors to make a Christmas card.  I couldn’t help it, the “mice” made me do it!  In this case, it was one mouse, but I’m holding her responsible.  I cut the sentiment in two.  I know, I lose small stuff too, but I had to do it.  I think this is a fun card and I still think it’s cute after letting it sit overnight on my desk.  I don’t know if anyone else has to step back and look with new eyes at their creations, but sometimes I do.  I ..read more
