Hi everyone, I will tell each and every detail of me and my web development agency. I have started freelancing in September after doing a job for 1 year in this field, and I was earning 2 - 3 lac PKR per month and I started Upwork and earned $2,000 in two months and made 94% JSS. Now I have rented an office to start my own digital agency because I don't want to stay at home whole day and do the work alone, instead, I want to hire people to do the work for my company and I can grow my company to million dollars evaluation. Now as I have started, I am currently alone in the office and could not ..read more

Web Design Agency - Strong Design, Weak SEO

Hi everyone, I own a small web design agency. I’m confident in our design skills, but know we need to grow in our SEO and advertising skills. On one of the cold calls I made today I was lectured for 15 minutes about how I should focus on SEO and that design is not as much of a priority. I agree somewhat and it’s kind of bothering me. I have very little experience with SEO, and I don’t really know where to start outside of reading and watching videos. Part of me thinks I should partner with a technical expert - someone proficient in SEO, PPC, and advertising but idk where to start - or if I sh ..read more

I own a new company that writes SEO blog articles for e-commerce brands. Three months in, we still have yet got the hang of the business. To speed up this process, do you have any systems and outreach strategies for service based businesses like us that you may suggest to keep us rolling? Thanks! submitted by /u/eidosx44 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Agency needs help with initial engagement and offer

Starting to get pretty frustrated with with this. Our ideal process is to start clients with a small paid discovery and strategy engagement. In good faith this is how we learn how to bid the right marketing campaign. The problem is we work with a lot of small businesses and less sophisticated buyers who kind of just want a "monthly marketing package at $x/mo" Do we keep it simple and just sell them that and shoehorn everything in best we can? Or do we keep trying our way, with initial engagements / 90 day buildouts / etc. which confuses a lot of small business owners and leaves us having to s ..read more

Any resources that can get my company out of this slump? We do organic SEO blogs for e-commerce brands online. We have a working website, operations, and an offer. How do we go from here? How do we get clients? Any resources, books, or courses to read? Preferrably one that is focused on serviced based companies. Thank you. submitted by /u/eidosx44 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I mean short form content was in peak in 2022-23 and many people wanted fancy edit now everything is now back to simple again? Sure some people want to outsource but do they think it’s necessary? I mean yeah it all comes down to the offer and your niche but planning to start something and i have experience in short form content but not really sure… submitted by /u/OkCrazyBruh [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Is there such a thing as a good client?

Landed a dream client, did amazing work for them, they still want favors and freebies and say rude sh*t to us. Landed another dream client, did amazing work they loved, then they threw us under the bus when some rando had a criticism of the campaign we designed. In my decade(s) of marketing work I see this over and over. Clients behaving badly turns them from dream clients into nightmares. Is this just how it’ll be forever or are there unicorns out there? submitted by /u/East-Virgo-024 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

What would you do with a large cold lead list of phone numbers?

Bulk sms with personalised text or call them? If you don't have the time to do the cold calling, do you hire someone on a salary with quotas, salary + commission or commission only? Do you upload the list on your phone and add them on social media as contact suggestions? What other ways are there? submitted by /u/pak-ma-ndryshe [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

What services are you missing that you want to offer to your clients?

I am in the process of growing my agency. I don’t particularly love the sales part of landing clients, but I do love the day to day grind of being in the accounts and actually doing the work and getting results. I know there are agencies out there that would like to offer SEO, Google ads, Facebook ads, etc… but it’s not something that’s worth allocating resources towards or hiring someone in house for. If you have some services you want to offer, but don’t have the resources to do so, let know and maybe we can work something out! submitted by /u/klaysmithhh [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
