Today we had a sleep in then we got some snacks and visited a ‘train graveyard’ just out slide of town that contained the rusty relics of former mining locomotives. We then drove about 25min to the Salt Flats where we took heaps of pictures. We then had lunch on the water and under water as it started raining. Today we left unnecessary baggage at the hotel and left by van for Oruro where we had lunch and explored the town for a little bit. We then caught a 7hr train ride to Uyuni whereby we saw wild flamingos and Vicuñas. Today is the day to explore Lake Titicaca. We leave to catch our ferry around 7:30 where there are many other people to make up a bigger group for the day of exploring. We first stopped at a small floating island called Uros to learn the way of the people and life on a floating island. We than headed to a cafe to get our passports stamped while also waiting for the last few members of the group to join up. Today there is 3 of us left to head on to Lake Titicaca and Bolivia. We caught a bus around 8 in the morning and headed to Puno, a city on the Peru side of Lake Titicaca. We arrived around 5 at our hotel and had some time to walk around to see the city crowded for market day. We than had dinner at a pretty cool bar/cafe called La Casa del Corejidor  where we played Jenga after a delicious meal. Today is the last day before half the group heads back home. We were able to sleep in while one girl went early with our guide to finalize her visa for Bolivia. We met at 10:30 to tour the cathedral. After we saw small ways the religions of the Incas and Catholics were mixed within the cathedral we went to lunch. We had lunch at a delicious vegan place called green point and than headed to the Choco museum to learn about the chocolate making process. We woke up in the morning, Hit the alarm and stopped snoring, It was 5 am, Some of us thought not again, We grabbed our gear, Then headed to the van with some cheer, For today was the day, Rainbow mountain away, Half the group stayed behind, While the others prepared for the grind, As we stood outside shivering, Diego took his time turning, In the van off we go, Next stop Yieber on the side of the road, Ready?
