Eddie Kelly is the latest to commit to Mizzou Football, continuing the transfer portal haul for Eli Drinkwitz and the staff
Daily Double.
As the calendar has turned to the month of May, Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz continues Mizzou’s transfer portal haul. Not one, but two Power Five transfers committed to Mizzou Football today — and both on the defensive side.

RMN’s staff photog shares some photos from last weekend’s series win over Mississippi St.
If you were one of the fans who made it out to Mizzou Softball Stadium this weekend to watch the Tigers face Mississippi State, you saw some rain, some shine, two wins, and one loss. A lot for just three days!
The team won the first two games, including an emotional Sunday game nearly cut short by a rainstorm, but dropped the final game, 3-2.
Here are some of my favorite shots over those three days!

Get Bent or get bent?
With the transfer portal officially closing today, I feel like it’s as good of a time as any to take stock of what’s left. If you’ve been following along with all the transfer portal madness, you might be pretty pleased with the haul Dennis Gates has acquired so far. He struck early with Jacob Crews, and while the next few commitments took a few weeks to play out, they all ran one after another a few weeks ago. First it was Iowa point guard Tony Perkins, then Northern Kentucky scoring combo guard Marques Warrick, and fi ..read more

Mizzou Links for Wednesday, May 1
We knew on Monday that Mizzou came in at No. 10 on the latest Softball America rankings. Meanwhile on D1Softball the Tigers come in at No. 15 (the lower ranking probably factors into Monday night’s loss to Mississippi State).

Hopkins becomes the 7th commit of Missouri’s 2025 class.
Another day, another blue-chip commitment for Eli Drinkwitz.
As the spring transfer portal window closed on Tuesday, Drinkwitz and his staff were busy closing down the recruitment of yet another blue-chip prospect from the state of Missouri. Just a few miles to the southeast of Columbia, four-star defensive end Daeden Hopkins committed his college career to Mizzou.

While the rest of the world tripped over a slim transfer class, Eli Drinkwitz kicked off his 2025 high school class on a high note.
The Spring Transfer Portal Window closes today. In the two weeks it has been open, Eli Drinkwitz has secured five commitments from future Tigers.
Curiously, only one of them is a transfer (for now.)
While the rest of the college football world zigged on what turned out to be a slim transfer class, Drinkwitz zagged onto the recruiting trail and added three more blue chippers to a high school class that already featured the highest-rated QB ..read more

Who comes back counts, but WHAT comes back is the important part
The 2023 Postmortem series is officially done and we can begin looking into the 2023 team! Rejoice! The best way to project 2024 success is by looking at the remains of the 2023 team and figuring out how much production returns on the offensive and defensive sides.
The gentleman who created both Rock M Nation and the SP+ metric system, Bill Connelly, has a measurement called “returning production”, a metric that attempts to quantify the value of production coming back, rather than the value of indi ..read more

The Tigers dropped to 0-7 in SEC series finales in their 3-2 loss to the visiting Bulldogs on Monday.
A vintage Laurin Krings performance turned into a nightmare for Missouri softball on Monday at Mizzou Softball Stadium.
Heartbreak struck the Tigers with Mississippi State down to its final strike, as pinch hitter Matalasi Faapito ripped an RBI single to keep the Bulldogs alive before Nadia Barbary gapped a go-ahead, two-run double on the first pitch she saw to sink MU 3-2 in its final regular-season home game of the season.
