Healing from abuse is hard. For victims to heal, they have to remember horrors, wrestle with the presence of evil, and cry out for help and restoration, and all the while, they are weeping. Abuse impacts a person’s body and soul, and just as soon as a victim works through one area of devastation, another seems to arrive on the scene. I have been honored to tend to victims as they heal.
