1. Expect the energy from Orlando and bring it yourself. 2. Being up 2-0 means nothing gotta step on the gas and stay hungry. 3. Play the game on our terms and control the pace. 4. Extra effort on the defensive end no easy shots. 5. The best players gotta be the best players on the court.  6. The team has to have the IQ to see the adjustments they make and alter your game for it. — Let’s go Cavs – get this Game 3 win on the road!  The post Cavs @ Magic Game 3 Keys! appeared first on Cleveland Sports Talk. Cavs Up 2-0 Against The Magic and Will Now Travel to Orlando
Cleveland Sports Talk
by Nick Fago

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be on the road for the first time in this series as they travel to Orlando to take on the Magic for Game 3. The Cavs won their first two games in Cleveland against the Magic pretty easily. Even though the Cavs took these first two games, they are going to have to work hard to win this series. The Cavs did their job in the first two games, winning them as the home team. It is going to be a different atmosphere for Games 3 and 4 as they are now in Orlando. With the Cavs not having a home-field advantage for these next two games, it would easily turn the tides of the ..read more

Dominated Game 1, Looking to Repeat for Game 2
Cleveland Sports Talk

We were curious if the Cavs were going to be prepared for the young Orlando Magic. After last year’s disappointing defeat to the Knicks, the Cavs needed to come with more fire and spark. In Game 1, they did just that. The Cavs set the tone from the beginning and were in control throughout the entire game. The Cavs took Game 1 by winning, 97-83. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 30 points. There were concerns about his knee situation. We wanted to see if he was indeed 100% ready to go like he said he would. Well, he didn’t look rusty at all in this game. If you saw that thunderous dunk in the ..read more

Latest Browns Mock Draft!
Cleveland Sports Talk
by Steven P. Gill

The 2024 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, but for the Browns, the fun begins on Friday night. This will be the last draft without a first-round pick for Cleveland. The Browns currently have six picks, but I expect them to trade down at some point during the draft to accumulate an additional pick possibly in the fourth round. I also expect one or both of their seventh-round picks to be involved in a trade. As for acquiring future picks, the Browns currently have eight picks in 2025 and seven in 2026. In 2025 they have one in each of the first four rounds, two in the sixth round and two in the sev ..read more

Cavs: This is More Than Just a Playoff Series
Cleveland Sports Talk
by Zach Shafron

Well, everyone is excited for the playoff series beginning in Cleveland today. It’s the #4 Cavs against the #5 Orlando Magic and the first game is today at one in The Land. While everyone is excited about this seven-game series, that’s not all it represents. The Cavs have a superstar point guard on the roster by the name of Donovan Mitchell. This year he averaged 26.6 points, 6.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds all in 55 games played this season for the Wine and Gold. What matters most is Mitchell’s contract situation. He has a player option after this year for a single season (37 mil). Essentially ..read more

Magic vs. Cavs – Playoff Preview
Cleveland Sports Talk
by Miguel Mike Medina

Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the surprising Orlando Magic team in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. This is one of the most under-the-radar matchups of the playoffs. Both teams have stellar defense. Both teams are young and that’s what makes this No. 4 versus No. 5 matchup intriguing. Who has the advantage in this series? Cleveland has the advantage over Orlando because of playoff experience. I’m not always on the side that playoff experience matters, but in this series, Cleveland has a little more because of Donovan Mitchell’s experience with Utah. Orlando could surprise all of us. How Important is the Draft this Year?
Cleveland Sports Talk
by Samuel Brittain
1w ago
The draft is important, but rarely is it the driving force to push a team into contention status. This year is no different, but it is going to be an important piece for the Browns and their push into the playoffs. Main Targets for the First Few Rounds The main targets have been similar for the past few years, and they haven’t changed this year. Defensive Tackle and Offensive Tackle are still the main targets, and for a good reason. We have tried to fill those places, and have done an OK job, having got Dalvin Tomlinson and Dawand Jones. But those are out starters, and we still need multiple d ..read more
