The March edition of Asia Week New York finished up a couple of weeks ago and I had a wonderful visit to one of my favourite cities in the world! I was in New York for six nights to check out all the Asian art auction previews, especially at the international auction houses Bonhams, Sotheby's and Christie's. I have some exciting news for everyone! As of March 7th, 2024 I officially joined the Board of the Gardiner Museum! The Gardiner Musuem is one of my favourite museums to visit - not just in Toronto - but around the world. I have been going to this institution since the mid 1990's when my parents would take me there for lunches and a viewing of the galleries. As mentioned in my last post, I made a trip to Hong Kong to view the major sales at the auction houses Bonhams, Christie's and Sotheby's.
