The Junior Police Academy June and July sessions have come to an end. This was a great time for our department to connect with teenage kids about law enforcement and allow them to see all the different aspects of how our department works. During the weeklong academy, kids go to partake in all things law enforcement such as: traffic stops, room clearing, handcuffing, investigations, and scuba diving. This also allowed them to meet the men and women that serve in all these areas and then some. It was a fun time to be had by all and look forward to next summer ..read more
