A veteran member of the Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV community took some time away but returned recently to re-introduce herself. Her name is Marije Brummel and she explained to the Microsoft community that she is transgender. Denver-based Akerna announcedplans to acquire Microsoft ISV 365 Cannabis for $17 million in cash and stock. 365 Cannabis has "85+ clients", according to Akerna's announcement and is generating $8.2 million in LTM revenue, with $5.2 million of that in SaaS revenue and greater than 70% software margins. Managed service provider Node4has acquired UK-based Microsoft business applications partner The NAV/365 People, ( TNP). The acquisition is Node4’s first since Providence Equity Partners became their new principal investor. The terms of the sale were not disclosed. TNP are a veteran service provider in the Microsoft Dynamics space, with a focus on the UK and primary expertise in Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Power Platform.
