“Do I have to cut out alcohol to reach my fitness goals?” A question I get ALOT! My answer is NO, BUT, but I want you to understand how/why it impacts your fitness goals and progress.  Alcohol can definitely disrupt your progress. From early on I learned that if I wanted something it’d require work in return. It all started when I was around 12. I lived at the top of a MASSIVE HILL. The kind of hill that your grandparents would have referred to as “the hill they had to walk up both ways, in the snow, with no shoes on” to prove a point.
