Context: I am an international student with an overseas driver license wanting to drive in Melbourne. Vicroads states that I em eligible for a P2 license after conversion. I have read about obtaining your Ls, Ps and full licenses and their respective limitations however I have a few remaining questions. If anyone is kind enough to spare me some of your time, I’d greatly appreciate it!
Disclaimer: I’m sorry if these questions don’t make sense, I’ll try to elaborate more if anyone’s confused.
Questions:
Do “overseas driver license” and “international driver license” refer to the same thing? O ..read more

Hi, I'm a year 12 student and am designing a building for public housing as my final project. I was just wondering what peoples experiences were with public housing in Melbourne and if anyone had any tips or recommendations on what they would like to see included or changed. Even just interesting stories would be appreciated that can be included in my folio. Thank you!!

I need some advice on purchasing a carpet. I've been offered a second-quality Tuffmaster carpet.
I have two underlay options: Stepmax by Airstep 10mm or Underlay King Integrity10 Green which is also 10mm. The Underlay King is $500 cheaper and feels a bit softer than the firmer Stepmax. Is a firmer underlay preferable? and is it worth the extra $500? When would I likely notice the difference?
Also, as this is my first time having carpet installed, could you advise what I should look out for, post installation? How can I ensure the installation is done correctly?
I plan to purchase the carpet f ..read more

Looking at moving there. Where does everyone take their dogs? I can’t find much greenery on the maps without going to Fitzroy north or east Melbourne.

My kid is autistic and latched onto them, but it’s over now and they’re missing charmander, mimikyu, garchomp, and venusaur.
Happy to pay postage and send any doubles you might be missing that we’ve got back to you in exchange.

Does anyone know what happened Under the St. Albans road bridge today at approximately 5:00 p.m. near Albion station. I saw all emergency services on site. Did someone jump off the bridge?

Hey everyone! My partner and I have very recently moved to Melbourne, and are looking for a bit of advice.
My partner has struggled with his mental health for a very long time, specifically with BPD, and after lots of discussion based off timelines, what he's tried before etc, we believe that inpatient care is our best option right now.
There's so many places around Melbourne, and obviously everyone has different opinions on whether somewhere is worth going or not - but BPD is something really specific and I want to make sure that he's getting the best care to improve his recovery and not wor ..read more
