Last week, we finally returned to Argentina after being away for a few years. When we went back, we enjoyed a red wine from Grupo Colomé - the 2021 Colomé Auténtico Malbec produced & bottled by Grupo Colomé S.A. Today, we return to Salta, Argentina for a white wine from this winery: 2023 Colomé Estate Torrontés produced & bottled by Grupo Colomé S.A. (Valle Calchaquí, Salta, Argentina). This wine is 100% torrontés from vineyard sites in Valles Calchaquíes. It was both fermented and briefly aged in stainless steel prior to bottling. A few years have passed since we traveled to Argentina to try a way from Colomé. The last wine we enjoyed from this winery was an estate grown malbec - the 2019 Colomé Estate Malbec produced & bottled by Grupo Colomé. The most recent wine that I shared as part of my continuous effort to bring you as much great wine from my home state of New York as possible was from the North Fork of Long Island. The 2022 Pinot Gris grown, produced & bottled by Bedell Cellars was made with 100% estate grown fruit.
