My 2015 FE servers are down right now and soon I will just remove them from Topology Builder and that is that. I have all my users except my test account on premise for both Skype and Exchange. All users are synced with Entra Connect using default settings and all work as expected for login. I have migrated a single mailbox for my test account and then attempted a login to Skype for Business. Login to Skype works but I cannot get any Exchange connectivity and get a repeated prompt to login. Connectivity says EWS unavailable but the EWS URLs are set to my internal Exchange server which has a modern hybrid connection with no errors (even Free/busy info is working both ways). Might sound like a silly question but I haven't done this in years and I can't find anything in my notes to answer my question. I need to migrate the CMS from 2015 to 2019. I was first going to create the placeholder DB on the 2019 SQL server and let it sit for a day or two to make sure everything is OK. Then, run the Move-ManagementServer command. Nothing in the documentation I have read indicates you need to move the CMS right away after creating the new DB. So my migration from 2015 to 2019 is done with the exception of moving the CMS to 2019 which I am doing next week. We have a small implementation because we use Zoom. Basically IM only. No Edge, PC or Web Access Server. Just 3 FE servers in a pool for both 2015 and 2019. Everything including dialin moved to 2019. After the CMS move, I am wondering how to decommission the 2015. My instincts tell me not to just right click --> Delete the Enterprise Pool and publish the Topology. My 2019 pool is already set up for monitoring but I need to install reporting on it. When I open Control Panel, the reporting I am getting No Monitoring Reports Installed when I click on View Monitoring Reports. Do I just use the Deployment Wizard to install the reporting or do I also have my SQL Engineer install Reporting Services on the SQL server? In my 2015 Pool, which is gone now, my Reporting URL was pointing to one SQL server and my Monitoring Database was on another. Final stages of a SFB migration with an Exchange question. Moving the SFB/OWA IM integration from 2015 to 2019. I have the SFB side down but have a question on the Exchange side. Finishing up a migration of Skype 2015 to Skype 2019. I need to move the Trusted Application Pool that allows IM integration with OWA to the new Pool. I know I have to delete it and create it on the new 2019 Pool. Every time I touch this app it breaks. I am not looking forward to it. I have done it before but a long time ago. What is the best way to do it? Should I use Topology Builder to delete it and recreate in the new 2019 Pool or PowerShell? I know I have to update one setting on the Exchange side too. I am almost complete with the decommission of my SFB 2015 Pool as we migrated to 2019. I have a unique situation because of all the migrations that have taken place from Lync 2010 to SFB 2019. In Control Panel on my SFB 2019 server, the reporting service is pointing to the SQL server for the 2015 Pool which is now empty. When I run Get-CsReportingConfiguration, the ReportingUrl for Reports is pointing to an older SQL server probably used by Lync 2013. I’m decommissioning Skype for Business 2015. We’ve fully migrated to Microsoft Teams and I’m cleaning up the SFB environment. I’ve made it through the whole process and I’m to the point of running Disable-CSADDomain and Disable-CSADForest. I’m nervous to run these commands and make the schema changes. There’s not a lot of information I can find about what specifically these are doing, and I’m always a little nervous generally speaking about making schema changes.
