I recently purchased a US Skype number (living abroad in Spain) and have a subscription and credit and cannot receive calls or send SMS messages. I contacted Skype support and they suggested I get a new Skype number, but I don't want to purchase a new Skype number if there's a problem and the same thing is going to happen. A few years ago, I accidently sent a friend request to a regular skype user from a skype for business account. I never sent them a message and blocked them on skype for business. Is it possible that on their skype account side, they can still see my skype for business profile information for example in their recent chats or contacts? I had two skype accounts i used all around 2010s-2018s.... i figured it wont let me download old skype versions, only getting into old account was kinda possible, so i followed THIS advice and it worked, but just with only one account. The account i was able to log in with my username and password is actually an older one, so i have no clue why it worked. Now with a never account created maybe around 2016, i cant get in. I use Skype every day, specifically group chats on an Android version 13, and it just gets worse with every day. For example, every time, and I mean EVERY TIME I try to post a GIF the app stops responding and crashes. Very slow loading time of GIFs too, it won't let me search for them in the GIF section, but I have to search in the Emoticons section and then click on the GIF section. Every single update is a downgrade. 10 years ago, I don't think I ever got a program crashing, now it happens constantly, even 10+ times a day. Sometimes the skype is locked in endless loop of opening and reseting, sometimes sending a picture crashes this thing.
