Happy Saturday!!! this week's ATC prompt is a doozy and should be taken seriously.... week 17. Food Art: featuring you favourite food/dish. well, I started off seriously. I knew I wanted to do something with chicken, and I had a lovely folklore type image that was pretty, and I was going to use it but I was struggling to get started. So, I flicked through a new collage image book that I recently purchased, and the perfect image just leapt right off the page at me.  and I had so much fun creating this piece. It all came together.  and it made me Laugh and Laugh.  just what ..read more

Using a transparency and stitching to overlay my layout to give it a 3D effect.  I have stamped under the overlay for some added interest.  I was then able to audition elements from 49 & Market as well as Luckyfindings Foundations to create this layout for this months palette play.  Hope this inspires you to get creative and join in on the monthly challenges ..read more

Happy Saturday to all.  Can't believe we are in April already and we are all probably still on a chocolate high. Grab a cup of tea or coffee, Glass of Wine or spirits and sit back and enjoy.   I am here to share my take on this month's Palette Play - Vintage Charm Greys, pale vintage browns, pinks and maybe some light blues.  It is all about interpretation and how does this palette make you feel.  This palette reminds me of Tim Holtz paper dolls.  I must admit that I am a collector of Tim's paper dolls and have a few series of them.  I knew I didn't wa ..read more
