It’s been a busy and varied week of LEGO® news and reveals. After Universal Pictures decided to try and nuke all traces of certain LEGO Minions from the internet, the sets were officially revealed this past week. Begun the teasing has. A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that LEGO® Star Wars content would be introduced to LEGO Fortnite during the ‘May the 4th’ event. Now we’ve been given the first look at some of the content due to be added to the Fortnite experience. Along with various previous Star Wars skins getting LEGO Styles, new characters, including Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian and Death Troopers, will also be added to the game. Another UK retailer is holding a LEGO® Star Wars Make & Take event on May the 4th. Hamleys Toy Shop on Regent Street, along with stores in Westfield London Shopping Centre and Glasgow St. Enoch Shopping Centre will be offering two LEGO Star Wars Make & Take minibuilds. You can choose to build a microscale X-Wing or Jedi Master Yoda. The events start at 11:00am this upcoming Saturday and you can build the sets in-store and then take them home with you. During this year’s MAR10 Day stream, the LEGO Group revealed a trio of new LEGO® Super Mario sets. At the time, we only got a look at the sets and their content, but now images of the packaging have emerged, which show the upcoming sets will introduce a refreshed box design. The three sets, Bowser’s Express Train, King Boo’s Haunted Mansion and Battle with Roy at Peach’s Castle will be the first LEGO Super Mario sets to feature the tweaked design. After their surprise reveal yesterday, better images of the two new LEGO® Animal Crossing sets have been revealed. These offer a much better look at the two new sets which recreate the Town Hall and Dodo Airlines from Animal Crossing: New Horizon. The Town Hall building is a central part of your New Horizon island and it’s featured in K.K.’s Concert at the Plaza set. The Fallout franchise has been keeping gamers entertained for many years now. But thanks to the recent Amazon Prime series, the popularity of the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout has gained an all-new audience. It’s also inspired this impressive MOC from skyfox2K. Now five fan-created designs have been chosen with the possibility of one of them becoming a future LEGO Ideas set. The official LEGO® Hong Kong social media channels have revealed two brand new LEGO Animal Crossing sets. They will recreate the game’s famous Town Hall building and include Auide, another version of Isabelle and iconic pop pup K.K. Slider.
