Hello, Thank you again for the lovely messages you've been sending in response to my weekly updates, many of you have shared how you are coping with self-isolation or social distancing, I am fascinated at the different ways we’re all spending our time; some are tidying/reorganising cupboards, others are cooking, baking or gardening whilst some are spending more time doing the things they love like listening to jazz or painting. I think all this creativity has to be good for the soul! We’re so pleased with the responses we are getting that I have decided to take over the Tuesday email slot and ..read more

Back in 2014 when I dared myself to be brave enough to visualise what kind of brand I would like to build, I knew that I wanted to build a brand For Women by Women. My starting point was what kind of place would I like to work, what kind of people would I like to work with, all of which amounts to what kind of culture did I want to create. So I started at the beginning, my beginning and the family values I was brought up with, and the exponents of those values. This is best exemplified by the strong women I was surrounded with as I was growing up, my Mama, my Mum and my 4 amazing Aunties (che ..read more

Many of you have been in touch to ask when you can expect to see the new collection, it’s so good to know you are as excited as we are!  I’m delighted to tell you it is in production as I write, we’re off to Italy on Monday to see some of our factories and sign everything off before it arrives into our warehouse ready to launch at the end of this month. The fashion industry has a tendency to schedule new season launch dates based on a critical path or what they did last year, forcing summer tops in February, often the coldest month of the year and winter coats in August when it’s at its hotte ..read more

Many of you have told us over time that you enjoy seeing Hope styled by real women, so this season we asked a number of customers and friends of the brand to style their favourite pieces from the collection in their own way. Celebrating ageless style is at the heart of Hope and seeing how customers style Hope with their wardrobe favourites ie jeans, shoes and accessories, gives us a fascinating insight and helps us to understand our customers better. In addition, we often get asked for styling advice and outfit building tips which is why we are launching #AskNayna, this can be found in Nayna ..read more

I’ve just come back from a SS20 sourcing trip to Italy and the one thing that struck me is how much the factories and mills are talking about eco and sustainability, right at the source of production they are acutely aware of the need for change. Many of you will know we have been working with Eduardo and his family who are winning awards for their work in recycled cashmere, right now they are developing a method to recycle cotton and cashmere. At the same time the fabric mills are talking more and more about recycled cotton and on this trip we discovered the mill who supplies our wonderful ..read more
