FUJI X WEEKLY Back in 2018, I briefly owned a Fujifilm X-Pro2. I loved that camera! It was so much fun, and the perfect compliment to my Fujifilm X100F. To this day it remains my absolute favorite interchangeable-lens model by Fujifilm that I’ve ever purchased. Unfortunately, I had to sell it. You see, I didn’t have a lot of money back then to spend on (what was at the time) my hobby. I’m sure that many of you can relate. I found a good deal on a used X-Pro2, but I really couldn’t afford it. Using PayPal credit, I was able to hold onto the camera for about six months, but when the interest cam ..read more

Fujifilm X-Pro1, and nothing else matters!
FUJI X PASSION

Hi, My name is Eddy, and I’m 52 years old. I started with photography when I was 16 years young. At that time, I was really into sk8boarding and just finished my first handmade board. I asked my 13-year-old older brother to take a picture off the board. He said, “You just bought your own camera, go learn and enjoy”. And I did. I had indeed just bought a camera because I had sold my Zundapp. For the money I received from the moped, I bought a Canon A1. This was the same camera my brother had, so I could ask him for tips. After 9 photos of the skateboard, I still had 27 shots left. I went out ..read more

PetaPixel It is highly unlikely that you have not heard of the Fujifilm X100VI. Similarly, you’ve probably seen some polarizing discourse around it. FUJI X WEEKLY Bell Tower – Tumacacori, AZ – Fujifilm X-T5 – Classic Color This Film Simulation Recipe has a fascinating story behind it… but I can’t get into all of the details of it yet. When the time is right, I will explaining everything to you. What I can say in the meantime is that I was hired to capture some photos, and to use a Film Simulation Recipe for those images, but the Recipe name shouldn’t include a brand name. Ideally for this project, because of the subject matter and light, I would have chosen my Kodak Portra 400 v2 Film Simulation Recipe, but I couldn’t because of the name o ..read more
