Ghana Premier League (GPL) side, Legon Cities FC, have been charged with a breach of Sections 16(1)(b) and 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019 following their match day 29 game against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday. According to the FA prosector, Legon Cities refused to change its strips and that constitutes miscon­duct which brought the game into disrepute. They have until tomor­row to respond to the charges. Ghana’s 4x100m men’s relay team punched their ticket to this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris after winning Heat 2 on Day 2 of the World Relays held in the Bahamas. The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMET) has fore­cast that Accra and other parts of the country will experience heavy rains, possibly from now till the end of July. The disclosure of the informa­tion followed an hour of intense rains that flooded parts of Accra yesterday.  The Minister of Finance, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has donated three dialysis machines to the Tamale Teach­ing Hospital (TTH) to enhance service delivery. The Electoral Commission (EC) begins the vot­ers’registration exercise for new eligible voters from today, May 7 until Monday, May 27, 2024. The exercise is expected to last 21 days and will be conducted across all 268 district offices of the EC nationwide.
