We have 2 brand new identical DL360Gen10 servers running Windows 2022 with this same config.  We are using HP Smart Storage Administrator 6.30.8.0.  We have 2 D3610 disk shelves connected to a P408e controller and cabled using single domain design with .05 meter mini sas cables 691971-B21.  When we log into Smart Storage Administrator and click on the external controller it hangs for 5 minutes until the disk drives are displayed.  Clicking around is also very slow.  It's so slow that we cannot create a RAID group.  This is happening on 2 identical servers.&nb ..read more

i have 2 of the dl380 g4 running. both are mounted in an extra deep full size rack. they are loud as hell. when i open the door to that room it's like stepping behind a jet taking off. and that is their normal speed. and there is no way i know of to slow them down because: no power saving modes are supported for the dl380 g4.  even if you turn power saving on in bios it will display a message that power save mode will not do anything.  there is a row of 6 fans in the middle, 2 fans behind the cpus, and then the fans in the 2 psus (but these ones are not fast nor loud in psus). the ot ..read more
