The UK Deaf Sport Board is pleased to announce that Chris Beech has been appointed as the Chef de Mission for the DeaflympicsGB Team attending the Summer Deaflympics in Japan in November 2025. Chris is a former Deaflympian from 2005 in Melbourne and 2009 in Taiwan. He has also been the captain and vice-captain of Great Britain Deaf Football Teams from 2001 and 2007 where GB won the gold medal at the 2005 Deaflympics and a silver medal at the 2007 Europeans and has been the Chair of Great Britain Deaf Football (GBDF) Chair for the past 8 years.
