2020 MDX Technology Packages Ticking and low rumbling

Hey everyone, I have 2020 MDX, I recently notice my car would rumble a bit when I cruise on 30-40mph at 2000 rpm. And every single time when I accelerate to 20mph the car jerks to the next gear, sometime enough to push me foward, even with my seatbelt on. I haven't done any of the recall stuff yet. Will be doing that soon. Car is only 45k mileage and all maintenance are done at the dealership. Has anyone experience this on there 2020 mdx? submitted by /u/Party_Price_3639 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Why doesn't Honda no longer produce vehicles with longitudinally-mounted-front-wheel-drive setup anymore?

80s and 90s Acura and some Honda product such as Legend, RL, TL and Vigor had this setup and the vehicle still looks very good. Its proportion makes it look like a rear-wheel-drive vehicle. The replacement RL in the 2000s went back to transverse setup and it looked frumpier. However, this transverse setup also means that it limited Honda what it could do especially with its engine displacement and horsepower/torque. If they kept the longitudinally-mounted setup it would be like VW group product used in high-end Audi, Lamborghini Urus, Macan, Cayenne and Bentayga, giving Honda truly room and f ..read more

Everybody out here knows you can use Brake Hold in late model Acura’s as a launch control, right?

Brake Hold is a great feature and I find most people don’t know about it or use it. It rocks going through drive-thrus and in stop and go traffic, but you can also use it at stoplights to get a good start off the line. submitted by /u/garagepunk65 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Oil life percentage for oil change

Anyone got tips to make my oil life percentage go from 30% to 15% ? Lol I am approaching the end of my 23 Integra’s free maintained period (24k miles). I am currently at 23k miles, so I got less than 1k miles to get my oil change reminder light to come on for a free oil change. Do I just drive in sport mode and slam on the accelerator? A/c on max ? ? submitted by /u/Wasabitacos [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Loving my TLX Tech mileage

This is the first Acura I’ve ever ever owned. Before this, I’ve had experience with BMW, etc., but got frustrated with all of the maintenance requirements and repairs that are just guaranteed to happen. I’m hoping this TLX is more reliable. So far this has been my mileage if I’m not crazy aka lead footed on my commute to work, which is only about 25-30 miles country back roads and hills. Honda/Acura did a really good job with this car in my opinion and the four-cylinder engine. I know the one time I got up to around 31 MPG. I have to also say very nicely designed interior but same compla ..read more

Hi everyone I bought a 2019 Acura mdx for $23,000 last year at it's Kelly blue book value from a privare seller with that being even lower of a price from what they were selling for in dealerships . The mileage was about 90,000 miles. Now it has about 96,000 miles 1 year later and I'm seeing the kelluly blue book value around $15,000. What gives ? How could it have gown that much down in 1 year ? Anyone else experience this ? Dealerships do have them listed for around 22,000 or 23,000 but I don't see very many for sale around me to compare value. Is it really only worth $15,000 ? Theres nothi ..read more
