Although the BHA office is closed our team continues to work remotely and we are still available via telephone and email. In line with the government’s updated social distancing advice we have temporarily closed the BHA’s charitable clinics. In the wake of the Coronavirus disease, COVID-19 outbreak, the BHA has worked with the 4Homeopathy group of UK homeopathic organisations to produce the following guidelines : All advice from the chief medical officer is based around hygiene and prevention. We cannot stress strongly enough that these measures are of the utmost importance and everyone should be advised to follow them. We’re pleased to announce that, in the next two months, the BHA will be presenting the first in a series of free public lectures. These will take place in the Oxford area and will be presented by GP and homeopath, Charlotte Mendes De Costa.  Homeopathy, wellbeing and natural health Wednesday 18th March 2020 – 11.00am to 12.30pm   The venue for this talk is the Wood Centre for Innovation in the Headington area of Oxford.  Charlotte will be offering practical advice about homeopathic first aid. On Tuesday 29th October the Health and Sport Committee will meet at the Scottish Parliament to consider the future of Glasgow’s NHS Centre for Integrative Care (CIC) formerly the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital. Health Minister calls for Germany to continue funding homeopathy

Germany’s Health Minister, Jens Spahn has urged a government panel to continue funding homeopathy via the country’s statutory health insurance scheme. Speaking in Berlin last week, the minister said he saw little point in forcing Germany’s health funds to drop homeopathy, pointing out that costs of state funded reimbursements for homeopathic remedies amounted to €20 million, compared to €40 billion for medicines as a whole.
