Im a full time pizza delivery driver because my construction job laid me off and I needed the money so I had to start doing full time pizza delivery asap. 2.0 TDI engine, the HPFP has a constant ticking noise when in use (has been the case since I own the car for one year and half and over 30.000km now) which is a common issue and can be an indication of early failure, or not apparently if I believe the many people stating they have the same without symptoms. I want to open the metering/solenoid valve to check if there are metal flakes/particles but I’m unsure of the procedure, do I need to bleed and depressurize the fuel line first and prime the pump again after ? I have personally owned multiple Audis since 2009 and coincidentally, most of my trouble Audis were built in Mexico (2017 or newer models with VIN from Mexico). I work in Manufacturing Engineering myself and there is a huge work culture difference between German/Japanese and Mexican assembly line workers. I have a 2017 A4. I hopped in her today to run to the store less than 2 miles away, grabbed what I needed, and heated home. When I pulled in my driveway I noticed a small puddle of liquid where I was parked. I got on the ground best I can (I'm physically disabled) and noticed it dripping from whatever this is.
