Hi All! First ever post on this forum (& reddit!!) so thanks in advance for all the intel you provide to each other! Just bought a 2013 LR4 with 103K miles. Drove it home from NorCal to SoCal (about 300 miles) with no issue. Fire it up the next day: check engine light. Take it to indy LR specialist mechanic, Cylinder 6 misfire. Started to call the long list of mechanics listed on the carfax to see if I could get any more intel on what work had already been done so I didn't pay for something that had just been completed. Has anyone else had to come to the sad position of no longer fixing what keeps breaking and giving up? Finally saying goodbye to my favorite car ever in a couple days. So many things went wrong with it at once and I can’t keep pouring $ into it. Needs a new shifter, new hoses, wheel bearings, brakes, got moldy inside after the footwell flooded due to sunroof leak, dash cracked, parking brake fault. The list never ends. Wife has a 2010 LR4. After she pulled out I went in the garage and saw a nice big puddle of coolant. Luckily only a short drive and low coolant didn’t turn on till she was on her way home. I checked the crossover pipe but no leak there. Topped it off and ran it multiple times to try to get a better look at where the leak was coming from. My guess right now is the thermostat housing. That said the things holding coolant now and I can’t get it to leak. Coolant reservoir cap seemed right and on properly. Hey guys, I've been playing around with the info button on the multi function switch and apparently I noticed that I have "Reverse Mirror Dipping". Its set to on, but whenever I put the gear on reverse nothing really happens and I was wondering if there is a solution to this.
