Welcome friends into the month of April. I heard my first beautiful black bird singing yesterday , he was sitting in my front window and I sat watching him , brought a few tears to my eyes , how lovely nature can be , lifted my sprit . After all the rain we are having .  Every day  rain with just an odd dry hour in the day , no signs of stopping this week.  I have never known this before .  Yes this is the run up to Easter week . I am no way ready , I use to decorate the porch and house , but this year I have only brought out a few decorations . I thought this year that time again is rushing away with me , or is it me getting slower , yes I think it's me and also the rain .  But we did have one full day of sunshine this week.  Last week we went out one night to see Choir 86 Spring into Easter .  Well Easter is rolling in very soon. I thought I would get ready early for Easter , but no ! it as been so dull and none stop rain for weeks now 'with a tiny bit of sun . Very depressing , if I want to stitch I cant see to stitch , it's so dull . So I am now doing some useful things , like sorting  I have given bags of goodies away , that I know I will never stitch  and others will to the girls from my old club they love it.  Hello my friends , I can not get over how quick my week went . We have been a little busy but it's flew by.  We went out for our Anniversary , but not to far because it was heavy rain all day we got so wet when we left the car to go and have lunch , and when we came out another rain storm .  Here we are another new month , I do like March it's like a new start taking us into Spring , lots of surprizes in the garden with plants and bulbs trying to break out. February was very wet and the rain is still coming down , and its getting a little colder this week , but you know Spring is almost here.  Hope you all had a week of happiness and love . I have enjoyed my week , but would have loved some dry weather so I can get outside  more , there are signs of life every where with bulbs breaking out but the rain is so heavy they get bashed about .  I really hope Spring is not to far away , flowers are already blooming around , but they are saying snow is on the way , I do hope they are wrong . Well my craft room sorting is going well almost done , but I have had to be strong . Hi All ,  Oh I really want to move forward and forget last week. I have had some really bad viruses in my life time  , but last weeks was bad . Hubby also had it but not so bad , but he said it's the worse one he had ever had . I done all my detective  work and still can't find out were it came from , I was only in contact with one other person  and they did not have it .  But thank goodness I am still here to tell the story .My house was already spotless and it's been cleaned from top to bottom again. Hi all,  I hate cold weather and last night was the coldest on record  for us in the UK.  We both have  fluffy blankets over us at night watching TV . Still cold with the heating on. This week to keep warm I have been working upstairs packing away all the rest of the Christmas bits . and then looked at my upstairs craft room and knew I just had to sort it out .
