So i lost my phone (it was stolen by a taxi driver), it has no cellular/network connection. I was able to offline track it for a while and now its switched off. It has a 6 digit PIN, biometric lock. While using SmarThings Find, i clicked on the lock button and it said that my phone is unlocked???
Im 100% sure the phone was locked at the time i lost it. It slipped out of my pocket and into the taxi. Regardless i pressed on the lock button but because there is no network it didn't really do much.
I also tried google find my device and the "Secure device" option also says that my phone does not ..read more

Hey everyone, so right now I am currently using a Samsung S9 Tab and was wondering how I could force the volume keys to go to media even if I am in a call. I tend to be in discord a lot and the tablet counts that as a call, so when I try to change the media volume with the volume keys, it defaults to the phone call discord volume, not media volume. I also have the option enabled already in settings to "use volume buttons for media" , but it gets an override apparently when I am in discord.
Does anyone know a fix to this?

So, I've had my A71 for 4 years now, and I'm really happy with it, and I'm pretty invested in keeping it going as long as I can. That said, I'm aware that this is around the point when phones start to break down, and I need to be prepared to replace it, if it comes to that.
At this point, looking at the Samsung catalog, the A55 seems to be the closest option I can get in terms of budget, it being only somewhat more expensive than my A71 was in 2020.
So, what are the pros/cons of the A55 vs A71, what things are sidegrades, and what are the things that I need to be aware of?

Will be trading in a Pixel 6a which Samsung is providing $300 as trade in credit. I can get a S23+ for $524 instead. All prices are with tax included. Want to ensure if the prices Samsung are offering are decent.

Hello I recently bought a Galaxy S24 with an exynos, but after 3 days of usage I noticed that my battery drains very fast. I use the phone at school and usually use Instagram, tiktok, brawl stars and Spotify, and after a whole day of usage (from 7 am till 8pm in the evening) the phone has around 20% battery.. It says that a full charge would last about 15 hours, which for me seems insanely low compared to other new phones, like a relative's 4 month old a35 which has a 1d+ battery life, or my father's 4 year old a20e which has 2 days of battery life... Is my phone faulty, what should I do?

I mean, I do like this cat for the new phone leaks. But everything else, he's just being so annoying and make an issue about everything. Even on very little things like he wants to shove his opinion on others even it's just an issue of personal preference. He's also very inconsistent. Days before the launch of the S24 Ultra, he was so excited, praised Samsung like it was his god. Then, 2 weeks after market release, all he's been doing is criticize it like it's the worse phone ever. He's been doing this also for iPhones as well as Chinese phones. A few months before he's been praising iPhones ..read more

Hi all.
I unboxed my new S24+ today. However, when I charged it, (with the cable provided, and my husband's 25W Apple adapter, since I dont have my own for the type C yet) it rapidly charged to 65% (shown in video) I immediately got worried and thought faulty battery, as my refurbished S9 does the same when charged, and dies very quickly(my original broke).. although its years old so thats expected that the battery would turn wonky, unlike a brand new phone. Although if I remember correctly, my original S9 did the same (charging rapidly) which makes me wonder if its something with the S s ..read more

Is there a way to add a sound effect when you turn on the flashlight on a phone? Anything I look up on the subject just leads me to flash notifications/alerts and just how to work the flashlight in general. I'm really wanting the Fallout 4 flashlight sound any time I use it.
