Made that drive a handful of times the last few weeks after never having to prior, and I am a thoroughly confused individual. Construction speed limit is 45, yet even at like 57 someone will get a pissed off stack of cars behind them wanting to push 70. While at the same time, there’s always a number of highway patrol cars, and especially motorcycles, pulling over cars left and right in the times I’ve passed through. I'm all for law and order. But my instinct is that most of these situations can be explained by how extraordinarily difficult our state makes it to clear up some title situations, combined with the tough reality of living paycheck to paycheck. If you're making $14 to $20 an hour the likelihood that you can pay rent and an $1,100 exise tax in the same month is pretty slim.
