We Lightning fans are a spoiled bunch, so accustomed to deep playoff runs that this fact might surprise some. We are approaching a new mark in Lightning playoff history: we are about to lose three consecutive series for the first time ever. In 30+ years, this has never happened. Hey everyone! Making this post before I see all the people saying to trade or fire anyone. I was at the game tonight - my first playoff game. The vibe was truly something remarkable. I understand that we lost tonight and statistically being down 0-3 is not where any team ever wants to be. I’d rather have inexperienced Crozier than Perbix on the ice. Perbix barely moved, he didn’t have a single check, he missed opportunity after opportunity, he even blocked Vasy’s sight line.
