Hej! Flying in from Sweden to WWDC, I’ve never been to San Jose nor SF before. I’m traveling alone so would love to hear some tips on stuff I shouldn’t miss. I’m planning to be in San Jose from June 8 - 13 then to SF until the 16th. I’ve signed up to alot of WWDC related events, but besides that I will have some free time to explore. Car was broken into at In N Out on 550 Newhall Drive/ across from Paypal stadium today at about 12:30pm. I was picking up my sister at the SJ airport, so we had hidden our luggage in the trunk (not visible!), and stopped at In N Out for like 10 minutes! We came out and saw that someone was taking stuff out of our car from broken windows, they drove off as soon as we started yelling. Can I legally buy alcohol with a vertical ID if I'm over 21? I was at MOD Pizza and the manager said that he couldn't accept my ID because California just enacted a new law in January that they can't accept vertical IDs for alcohol purchases. if this is correct, can someone point me to the website where this law is?
