Otherwise known as, why moving southward is moving forward Lynn Canyon in Vancouver shot by me I’m moving on! I haven’t been extremely on the ball about keeping up a real narrative on this site, and that changes today. Going to be working on being a bit more vocal and informative about what it is that I’m doing these days, so keep with me (I swear I try to sort this stuff out but…)! What I mean is I’ve been doing the house sitting thing in Vancouver, British Columbia for about a month straight, jumping from one place to the next, but staying in the city so far! However… Due to the fact that ap ..read more

Otherwise known as, a long story about why I bought a calendar… Clearly I do occasionally get things done. But, that being said, occasionally is definitely the operative word in that sentence. As of today, our lucky February 29th, I’ve been doing this whole nomadic life thing for about 3 months. Things are trudging along, but all in all there’s still a lot to be done. I have to say that there’s a part of me that always feels like I am very much behind the curve of doing the things I am supposed to already have done. Otherwise known as, saying goodbye to the 9 to 5 Yes the title is supposed to rhyme. Yes that is the best title I could come up with. This article might not be as upbeat and funny as the last one. So here goes nothing… I think so many people imagine that the transition to being nomadic is this scary all or nothing move. A major life step that pushes you into the unknown in ways that are deeply terrifying, nerve wracking and threaten to overwhelm you in an all encompassing blanket of anxiety…Well they would be hella right! That’s a joke, please don’t listen to me. I swear I am not an expert on ..read more

An Introduction, Rant and Possible Life Story “Millennials, also known as Generation Y, are the demographic cohort following Gen X and preceding Gen Z. Researchers and popular media use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years, with 1981 to 1996 a widely accepted definition.” Annotated Wikipedia entry on Millenials My name is Theo James Taylor. I was born in 1997. I’m only sort of Nomadic. You might already be thinking “The Millennial Nomad seems like a bit of a misnomer.” You would be mostly right, but the title is catchy, and I came up w ..read more
