Noticed it around 7:15PM on the way home from downtown this evening and it was visibly >3 miles away. It looked to be just off Old Hickory towards Chic-Fil-A, either a townhome or apartment…checked fire dispatch and it was called in at 7:15 and labeled a residence fire. Might be a long shot, but tonight I was driving down Riverside and just before Fortland Drive, I saw a couple with a wild animal on a leash. It was a tan color and had a striped tail and about the size of a small dog. Snout was a little longer. I googled the description and a coati popped up, but I don’t think it was quite that. Y’all. I think my neighbors a few doors down stole one of my recycling bins. It disappeared this morning after pickup. It’s pretty distinct because it’s a newer one and and another neighbor thinks they saw it a few doors down at this house with an Airbnb’ed garage. I walked down there and it definitely looks like our bin and it was weirdly tucked behind all other bins. Also they had 3 recycling bins and I thought the max was 2 per household.
