Grand Marais Food Guide: 6 places to eat/drink in Grand Marais, Minnesota
Every single year we go to Lutsen in June for the Lutsen 99er bike race. My husband does this race. Every race day, while my hubby is suffering 99 miles on a bike, I load up the kids and we head to Grand Marias for donuts. It’s a tradition we all look forward to. We don’t leave Brandon out completely. We always make a family trip up there for dinner as well. Here are some of the amazing places we have discovered over the years.

Snowshoeing, dog sledding and skiing in the North Shore
Cross Country Skiing in Minnesota is extremely popular. Our cross country ski trail network is the largest in North America, totaling over 400 km. I had no idea it was this popular, did you? Of course you did.
I am heading to the North Shore soon so I am doing research on all of the trails available. There are 10 cross-country ski trails in Cook County alone. Don’t forget, anyone over the age of 16 will need a Minnesota State Trails Pass. They are available for the day or on an annual basis.

Places To Go Cross Country Skiing
2021 is my first time trying Cross Country Skiing. I started by renting my skis and taking lessons at Theodore Wirth Park. I immediately enjoyed it. I knew I needed to start doing my research so this is where I started:
1.) Finding places to go around the Twin Cities.
2.) Look into what gear to wear for the weather.
3.)Where to buy my skis, poles, bindings and boots.
First let’s talk about where to get rentals and/or purchase your equipment. I went to Hoigaards because it was the closest to my home. Other places to rent are Gear West, REI, The Loppet .

Hi there! Welcome to my latest hobby.
Wine!!
You’re right, Ive been drinking wine for a long time. I was invited to a wine tasting party this summer to learn about clean-crafted wine. I was so excited to be hanging with my friends, drinking wine at a bonfire. What I took from that evening was so much more than that. I learned what is actually in my wine vs Scout and Cellar. I am the type of person who does Whole30 diets. I exercise regularly. Why was I drinking wine that was so bad for my body?
Going beyond organic, our Clean-Crafted™ wine is always free from synthetic pesticides and chemical ..read more
