Since my last post, I haven’t been able to attend my WW Workshop because this weekend we had a blizzard so I was stuck at home for several days. In anticipation of the blizzard I did a lot of stress eating because I struggle with anxiety and knowing that we were going to be having a bad winter storm and possible be stranded at home for several days made me worry a lot more. So I had a bit of a setback, but the important thing is that I got right back on track after the storm and I am working hard this week to lose what I probably gained. I hope you all had a great week! I know that I definitely did. I had to take my son to a doctor’s appointment in the city, so I got to do some shopping and we ate at Charley’s cheesesteaks for lunch and it was so worth it! I had saved up all of my weeklies for this trip and I planned ahead where we were going to eat and what I was going to order so it worked out very well. I stayed mostly on track this week, only going over my dailies a couple of days. I weighed in yesterday at my WW Workshop and lost 2.8 lbs! New Year, New Goals

So this is my first blog post of 2020 and I just wanted to share with you what my goals are for the new year and how I am doing so far. This past Saturday I had my first weigh in after the holidays and I lost 5.8lbs! So I was really happy about that and it really made me feel like I am on the right track and gave me hope for this year. 2019 was not a good year for me as far as weight loss. It was a difficult year for many reasons and I struggled all year with gaining/losing and in the end I gained 35lbs. Getting Back on Track After the Holidays

So Thanksgiving and Christmas are over and I honestly haven’t tracked a lot and I’m sure that my weight is up. I go to my WW Workshop tomorrow so I will see for sure what the results are, but I’m just going to accept it and move on. I wish I could just get the through the holidays without overindulging, but it seems like it’s a bad habit that I need to change and I plan to prepare myself better for next year. This week has been really great for me. I have really gotten my mindset back in the game and have stayed on track all week. I have also worked out 4 days this week. I won’t be able to work out because I don’t have anyone to watch my daughter this morning so I can work out and my husband will be working in the field after he gets off work today. Harvest is almost done, so I’m really looking forward to that. It’s been a while since I last posted, I’m definitely not being very consistent with blogging or uploading videos to youtube right now, but I am hoping to get into a good schedule soon. Life has been hectic lately because it is harvest time, so my husband has been working in the field and I have been stressed trying to keep up with everything on my own. Finding my Motivation

I have to admit that this year has just not been my year for weight loss. I have gained some weight back and I’m really disappointed and I know that I have to get myself back into the right mindset. For me that involves finding my motivation again. As many of you might know, WW is making some changes to their plans starting on November 11th. From what I have heard, they are going to have 3 plan that we can choose from. So it’s been a few weeks since I started going back to WW Workshops, and although my weigh ins haven’t been the very good, I am confident that I made the right choice. I just need to get my mindset right and back into it. I’m struggling with that a bit but I know that I’ve lost weight before and been successful and I can do it again. I also recently went to see the ENT doctor about my throat for a follow up and it didn’t go very well. This tends to be a difficult time of year for me because harvest has begun. For those of you not familiar with farming, farmers plant their crops in the Spring and harvest them in the Fall and harvest can last for months, depending on the weather. My husband works a fulltime job and also farms, so that means we don’t really see much of him this time of year. He is gone from 4:30am until 9pm or later, depending on what fields they are working on. It seems like I have made a habit of rarely posting on this blog but I really want to keep updating it so I have a record of my weight loss journey that I can look back on. I went back to attending workshops and attended my first workshop in two months, so I am proud of myself for getting back to it. I am attending Saturdays now and I think that will work so much better for me. For one thing, the workshop is first thing in the morning and I love the idea of being weighed in the morning.
