hello,
I have recently stumbled upon this video on YouTube I really liked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TobmPU-D0vk and then a channel called བག་ཆགས། Tibet culture of mandolin.
can anyone give some context on this kind of scene/music? what kind of songs are these? Any more info I can get anywhere?
I don’t understand Tibetan so was not able to find anything, googling the title of the video didn’t give me much apart from understanding its the musicians name. but outside of youtube reuploads of recordings from some social media streams there’s nothing I could find.

Hi, as the title. I'm asking for a friend who doesn't have a reddit account. Basically, she went to Tibet, and visited a traditional doctor (中医?) , and the doctor prescribed some medicine that should be taken for 100 days. She went for it because the tour guide recommended her and a group of friends to go, as at the same time her body hasn't been feeling well for quite some time (years) now.
So, the medical bill ? It was a staggering ~RMB 40K , which is like USD6K. If it can make her feel better, then the money spend will be worth it, else, I dont know what to say.
