Are you tired of battling flaky and dry skin? If so, you're not alone. Once upon a time I relied on sticky ointments in the false belief they would soothe my sore, dry skin. I have hyperlinear palms (lots of lines on my palms) which is linked to dry skin and eczema (atopic dermatitis), so I thought I would struggle with dry skin for life.  Dry skin runs in our family as my cousins and parents also had the same dry skin. However, I found a solution that works for everyone. And it also h ..read more

We know how stressful it is for parents whose little ones have eczema but the good news is (as this week’s warrior will tell you) there is a great deal parents can do to help heal their child’s eczema.  Ling’s ..read more

Dealing with eczema, TSW and various other skin conditions can be tough. So it makes sense that living with these conditions and overcoming them builds us warriors to be strong, determined and responsive people. Not only that but I’ve seen first hand from my experience with chronic eczema and from the Eczema Life community that having a chronic skin condition builds considerate, accepting, caring and grateful people. When you have a skin condition you often feel thankful for ‘small’ everyday things including ‘itch free, eight hour slumber’ and wearing shorts in Summer.  This week's warr ..read more

If there’s anything we like to share with our eczema warriors via this community it is hope. Hope that you can heal your skin, hope that you can get back to doing the things you love, hope that eczema stops being the main focus in your life, and hope that the ‘dam itch’ stops! This week's warrior appropriately named Hope, provides us all with such hope!  We hope you are inspired by her healing journey. Hope had reasonably serious eczema from birth up until the age of 12. At this age, some allergy tests revealed that she was intolerant to gluten and dairy, and after cutting these out ..read more

Pictured: Chloes hands after being on our FID program for just over a week.  This week we are sharing Chloe’s story...   During Melbourne lockdown, some learnt an instrument, some watched 12 seasons of Greys Anatomy but Chloe healed her eczema.   Chloe had eczema as a child but it went away has most childhood eczema does. However late last year the itch slowly crept back into her life. It spread to her arms and hands.  “I didn't know what was causing this, I became very self-conscious, I would skip yoga or wear long sleeves to the gym. It wasn't until March this ..read more
