Before this year, my skin completely cleared up of both flare ups AND scars. I was so so happy because it took years to get rid of scars and I felt I could finally pass as someone with NO skin problems. I've had circular brown patches around my back and waistline for a long time, but they seem to be getting itchier lately. Two derms have said it was fungal (seb derm), but ketoconazole, cilprox, and lotrimin have not helped at all. TBF I'm only on week 2 of ketoconazole, but there zero difference. Does all nummular eczema weep? My patches are itchy but don't weep. I have a hunch that my patches are actually eczema, what is the main difference between these two conditions? I'm having a flare-up right now that I would say is the first truly terrible one I've ever had, so obviously I'm a noob when it comes to treatment. My skin has always been dry and itchy, but I think I've just entered "Eczema Hell" for the first time. The affected area is the backside of both of my knees. I am a male who wears hats to cover my forehead because it's like the only area of my face that is still bad. But most men's hats that cover the forehead are made with synthetic fibers around the brim and only make my forehead worse. It's a vicious cycle. Cotton beanies don't stretch well enough and don't look professional at work. Does anyone know about a company that sells 100 percent cotton trucker or baseball hats? I’ve been suffering from eyelid eczema on my left eye for I want to say 3-4 months now. I was using aveeno eczema balm and Vaseline for the most part but it didn’t seem to help other than provide temporary moisture. The last day or two I noticed my eyelid was feeling drier and tighter than usual, and upon touch the skin was smooth and papery.
