Everybody here at Lebus are pleased to have made our annual Christmas donations to Lindsey Lodge Hospice and five other local children’s charities in Scunthorpe. Lebus were thrilled to be able to help The Church of the Holy Spirit, Scunthorpe Hospital and Scunthorpe food bank with generous toy donations from employees. There was also a cash donation raised by employees as well as a very generous donation from Motaline that saw over £700 collected which Lebus Upholstery then matched and the money was distributed to St Hughes School, St Lukes School and Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Lebus proudly showcased our new range at the NEC in Birmingham, at their annual furniture show on the 19th of January to the 22nd. The show was very successful with many models being sold and lots of positive feedback from people who attended our stand on the range we had on display. Scunthorpe-based Lebus Upholstery are offering 15 new apprenticeship places for young people in North Lincolnshire, with a guaranteed job offer available after training. One of the largest furniture manufacturers in the UK, Lebus currently employs nearly 500 people at their site off Brigg Road in the town. The fifteen new apprenticeship places are open to 16 to 20 year olds, and the new recruits will start at the firm in September 2019.
