According to prominent leaker Dusk Golem, Capcom’s next Resident Evil title or Resident Evil 9, will be revealed “pretty soon” and will launch next year, possibly January. In a recent Zhihu interview, as translated by GamesRadar, director Hidetaka Miyazaki stated that the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will be Elden Ring’s only expansion. The director also stated that FromSoftware’s style of game development allows room for another title set in the game’s world but he didn’t confirm if a sequel would be developed. In a recent announcement on the Helldivers II Steam page, Sony announced that players will need to sign in to the game with a PlayStation Network account on Steam in order to play. This was originally a requirement when the game first launched but was removed after technical issues. Publisher Zynga has announced that the upcoming Star Wars arena combat game Star Wars: Hunters will launch on June 4 for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch on June 6 for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 chip. Sony has announced the lineup of games being added to the PlayStation Plus library for Essential subscribers in May 2024.
